The paper substantiates the relevance of the research of automatic washing machines of centrifugal action. Vibration and causes of their occurrence are analyzed. The oscillation processes, which arise in household appliances and light industry machines, are presented. The comparative analysis of constructions and technological parameters of automatic washing machines is carried out. The periods of work of a household washing machine during which there are raised and dangerous vibrations are analyzed. The eigenfrequencies of a drum type washing machine with oscillations in a vertical plane are analyzed. A dynamic model for the analysis of oscillations that arise in washing machines is developed. The devices and methods of diagnosing vibrations and oscillations in household automatic drum type washing machines are analyzed.
