Influence of hydrotechnical fragmentation of the Verhnednistrovska Alluvial Plain ecosystems on spatial and taxonomic diversity and soil properties, as well as invertebrates’ biota groups in flood river systems were evaluated. The habitat diversity of river-valley ecocorridors in the Ukrainian Carpathians with the aim of studying the impact of fragmentation, as well as the assessment of the functional capacity of the river-valley corridors of the Ukrainian Carpathian Ecological Network, was evaluated. The estimation of the condition of the fauna of the vertebrates included in the Red Book of Ukraine, the selected Rostochcha sites has been carried out. The main sites of reproduction of the Black Stork population under the fragmentation influence of habitats in the Carpathians are determined.
