The clinical and structural features of the tissues in the postoperative course, the timing of the formation of the fibrovascular capsule and the maturation of the connective tissue around the implant were studied. It was established that according to the data of the treatment at the Filatov Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy from 1999 to 2018 among patients with epibulbar neoplasms predominated patients with melanoma (60.9%), most of whom were residents of the city (60.9%). Among patients with jatrogenic tumors, the most frequently observed tumors after surgical removal (60% - melanoma, 83.3% - cancer). Most malignant epibulbar neoplasms were registered up to one year from the moment of the disease. In the US study, it was found that with partial resorption of melanoma, the thickness of the sclera under the tumor was 1.3, and at the cancer - 1.6 times thinner than with full resorption. At recurrences of epibulgar melanoma and cancer the average echogenicity of a tumor is more common.
