It is substantiated that information and analytical management systems (IAS) of energy efficiency of the region's economy is expedient to develop on the basis of component-oriented technology, which involves the division of the development process into hierarchical levels and types of support (algorithmic, hardware and software). In this case, the development of a number of components and the synthesis of IAS architecture was carried out on the basis of integrated approach. In order to provide prediction and search for non-obvious regularities, it is expedient to supplement traditional methods of operational analytical processing with data mining methods, namely, neural networks based on the model of geometric transformations, which, due to the nonlinearity of characteristics of neurons and synaptic connections, provide flexible network configuration for solving data processing tasks , forecasting of power consumption and visualization of operating modes of power systems.
