The object of research is the investment activity of Ukrainian enterprises.
The purpose of the work is to investigate the essence of investment and modern trends in their development, substantiation of the main areas of improvement of accounting, analysis and control of investments in enterprises in accordance with the requirements of the National Accounting Standards (Standards), International Financial Reporting Standards.
Methods of research - theoretical generalization, system and comparative analysis, statistical analysis.
The essence of investments as economic and accounting-analytical category is investigated; the place and role of investment activity in the system of activity of enterprises is determined; general regulatory framework of investment activity; the features of investment policy of the enterprise at the present stage of economic development are investigated; the organizational-methodical features of accounting of investments are considered; the method of complex estimation of efficiency of investment activity of the enterprise is considered.
Their advantages and disadvantages are substantiated. On the basis of the conducted comprehensive research, recommendations for the implementation of accounting, analysis and control in the management system of the investment activity of the enterprise are proposed.
