This project consider the issues of joining the attic premises of the main building of the Lviv Polytechnic National University for classrooms and official premises in order to increase auditory fund of Architecture Institute, and more effective progress of the educational process.
The specificity of conducting the educational process of architectural specialties requires, in addition to educational lecture rooms, also: premises for the possibility of creating models (model workshops); drawing rooms for course and diploma designing; computer classes for mastering the necessary level of computer modeling bases; halls for drawing and painting, to ensure the development of the artistic qualities of the future architect; exhibition, teaching, archival and warehouse premises.
At the same time, in the main building there are unused attic premises, which may become suitable for use as a result of reconstruction and redevelopment.
The project considers potential possibilities of adapting unused area of attic floor of the main building of the Lviv Polytechnic National University for educational and office functions for the educational needs of the Institute of Architecture and auxiliary services at the University's administration.
