The analysis of normative and technical documents and technical literature on the pavement gauge, analysis of the causes of formation and types of gauge, analysis of existing methods and criteria for the calculation of asphalt concrete pavement to the formation of gauge roads. In-situ studies (monitoring of at least 1500 km condition) of the asphalt concrete pavement track on public highways with different designs of non-rigid road clothing and different service life were conducted. Laboratory studies of the samples and analysis of previously conducted bench experimental studies of track formation were carried out taking into account the influence of structural, technological, operational factors on the formation of the track track.
