Based on the results of this analysis, the γ-tubulin genes are represented in the plant genome by mostly 2 paralogous genes containing 10-11 exons and 9-10 introns, respectively. In this case, the intron length of γ-tubulin genes varies among different isotypes, so the method for estimating the intron length of γ-tubulin genes can be used to differentiate selected plants. In addition, the fact that the plant genome has an average of 2 γ-tubulin gene greatly simplifies further analysis of the results obtained. Specific primers were designed for more accurate analysis of the evaluation of the intron length of γ-tubulin genes in A. thaliana. Using this method, the first model of A. thaliana was analyzed. It was found that the pair of specific primers to the second intron of the second isotype of the γ-tubulin gene is most effective for A. thaliana, since it allows to isolate several wild-type samples and a group of GFP-MAP4 samples simultaneously. A certain polymorphism of the intron length of the studied samples is revealed. It is proved that the proposed method can be used alone or in combination with other markers of intron length polymorphism of different genes to be used in molecular genetic studies of flax, because it allows to identify and differentiate flax varieties based on obtained DNA profiles. In general, it has been established that the method of estimating the polymorphism of γ-tubulin gene inrons using degenerate primers can probably be successfully used for the analysis of dicotyledonous plants.
