The main aspects of the implementation of the state policy of Ukraine and Poland concerning the national minorities rights protection are identified. Based on a comprehensive scientific study of the activities of the Ukrainian national minority in present-day Poland (on the territory of Warmia-Masurian, Pomeranian, West Pomeranian voivodeships) was conducted a sociological survey of representatives (leaders) of the Ukrainian minority. The research forms recommendations according to the experience of central and local authorities in support of the national minorities’ activities.
