The effectiveness of biogenic surfactants in corrosion inhibition of aluminum alloy and carbon steel in weakly acidic and neutral corrosive environments has been investigated. It was found on the basis of quantum-chemical calculations, that inhibition of corrosion by a ramolipid inhibitor is due to physical and partially chemical adsorption to metal surface. Synergism of protective action of biogenic inhibitors/zinc phosphate composition was revealed, which provides metal protection degree up to 95%.
