Modern variational and numerical methods of the deformable solid mechanics, which include the Rayleigh-Ritz method, the Bubnov-Galerkin method, the method of given forms are used as research methods. New mathematical models for the loss of static stability of carrier-rocket tanks from nanocomposites under the action of longitudinal and transverse loads have been developed. All elements of mathematical models are tested by comparison with data obtained by other software. New mathematical models for the loss of dynamic stability of nanocomposite rocket fairings in a supersonic gas stream have been developed. These fairings are composite structures that consist of cylindrical and conical shells. All elements of mathematical models are verified by comparison with the results obtained by other software. A mathematical model of the dynamic stress-strain state of nanocomposite solid rocket motor casing under the influence of unsteady internal pressure is constructed.
