Purpose of study: to develop and scientifically validate approaches to medical and social expertise and rehabilitation of young people (who had the status of a child with disability) basing on determination the interconnections between their psychological characteristics and life prospects of the individual. Research methods: empirical (psychodiagnostic, documentary), theoretical (hypothetical-deductive, system analysis), mathematical (statistical processing in the VerMed system). The developed algorithm was meant to evaluate the life prospects of young people who had the status of a child with disability and ways to improve their functioning in society, prevent the growth of life restrictions; defined life perspective as lines of development (productive and unproductive orientation); certain features of the development of young people with disabilities, which violate the life prospect, creating conditions and significantly impair their integration into society (disability influences the bringing up process by development types of rejection and disability; the desire to benefit from the disease - bringing up process by the type of socialism; the influence of psychological factors that worsen or facilitate their functioning and influence on the limitations of life prospects; approaches to improving the functioning of young people with disabilities identified early prevention of psychological disorders, namely, their diagnostics and timely correction, from childhood, into adolescence and early adolescence. Improved approaches to medical and social examination and rehabilitation of young people with a disabled child status, which provide for determining the features of personal meaning of the disease, directions of development of life prospects and its psychological determinants (on the distortion of the results of significant impact has a secondary benefit in the treatment profile related to treatment , low adaptability; the key points of psychological rehabilitation are the personal meanings of the disease, the severity of alexithymia and health levels); approaches to filling the psychological and pedagogical component of individual rehabilitation programs for young people with a disabled child status have been developed as well as technologies of analysis of morbidity / disability and psychocorrection of life prospects of young people who had the status of child with disability contribute to improving the quality of providing expert medical and psychological help, improving the vital activity and development of life prospects, which are the conditions for successful integration into society, reducing and optimizing economic costs, conserving labor resources. The results of research and development were implemented at "Forpost HELP" psychotrauma and health center, KZO "Gorlitsa" Educational and Rehabilitation Center, KZO Educational Association No. 28, higher educational establishments such as DSMA Ministry of Health of Ukraine, O.
