The analysis of decision making within the framework of the food safety management system implemented on the principles of HACCP are analyzed. Objects of the decision-making process relevant to the purpose of scientific work are identified and their ontological representation is developed. The principles of building decision support systems for solving food safety problems have been identified.The components, the functional structure, the functional tasks, the communication technologies of the decision support system that implements the system optimization technology for solving the problems of food safety are identified. System optimization algorithms have been developed to address the applications of food security using contexts and ontologies. A web-based prototype of implementation of application decision support for food safety problems based on system optimization algorithms has been developed.
