Novel control algorithms are obtained for the stabilization of underactuated control systems along a given curve. A novel author's method is developed for the output stabilization linear systems with limited knowledge about system’s model and output. The proposed method is based on the combination and generalization of the Lie bracket approximation and singular perturbation approaches. A constructive method of synthesis of control functions for the partial stabilization of mechanical systems with random influences concerning is proposed. A novel approach for studying the stability properties of linear non-autonomous systems with switching is developed based on formulas of commutator calculus. Several important classes of mechanical systems with elastic elements are considered, for which new mathematical models of motion are developed and their qualitative properties are investigated.
