On this basis, laboratory samples of solar cells and UV photodetectors were created, which in some parameters exceed the existing analogues, and several new methods for finding the parameters of semiconductor materials were proposed. Development of a Muller-matrix algorithm for describing the parameters of phase and amplitude anisotropy of multilayer polycrystalline structures in the form of a superposition of partial operators of linear and circular birefringence and dichroism. Theoretical substantiation and experimental detection of a group of Muller-matrix images of phase-inhomogeneous layers, which determine the polarization manifestations of the orientations of the optical axes and birefringence of partial crystals and determine on this basis the diagnostic relationship between the changes in the distribution and - self-similar structure of coordinate distributions of elements of the Muller matrix. New Muller methods are developed - matrix mapping of linear birefringence distributions with statistical, correlation and fractal analysis of obtained arrays of values of orientation, orientation-phase and phase Muller-matrix images.
