The project is devoted to a study of the equilibrium properties of simple and complex liquids adsorbed in porous media. To this end, on the basis of statistical-mechanical theories the corresponding theoretical approaches have been developed and applied to describe the thermodynamic properties of simple, ionic, nematogenic and associative molecular systems. Analytical expressions were obtained and the chemical potential dependencies on density and temperature were calculated numerically, and the confinement effects of a disordered porous matrix was studied. We have obtained phase diagrams describing the phase transitions of considered systems from the gaseous to liquid state, liquid-liquid separation phase transitions in ionic solutions and mixtures. The clustering phenomena of proteins have been considered as well. Besides that, the conditions of isotropic-nematic phases transition in liquid crystal systems have been explored. In particular, it is shown that the porous medium and pressure favour the formation of nematic phases in mixtures of ions and liquid crystal molecules. And at a fixed pressure, a decrease in the porosity causes an increase in the critical temperature of the liquid-liquid phase transition. It is also found for simple liquids that the behavior of their critical temperature, depending on the attraction between the molecules and the porous medium, has a non-monotonic behaviour. Protein molecules of immunoglobulin can associate with each other due to their reactive groups, thus formation of molecular clusters can appear. In such systems of molecules, we investigated the gas-liquid phase transitions at different values of the matrix porosity.
