IONIZING RADIATION, 8Q24 POLYMORPHISMS, CHRONIC LYMPHOCYTIC LEUKEMIA, rs2124594, rs6983267, rs2456449, c-MYC, NOTCH1, IGHV GENES The object of study: 134 chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) patients, including 77 ionizing radiation (IR) exposed patients due to Chornobyl NPP (the main group) and 57 IR non-exposed CLL patients (the group of comparison). The aim of work - to study the role of с-MYC oncogenic pathway in pathogenesis of chronic lymphocytic leukemia in post-Chornobyl period. Methods: clinical, polymerase chain reaction, direct sequencing of reaction products, statistical. Equipment: thermocycler Bio-Rad C1000 (N10450137), dispensers. The main results: the method for detection of rs2124594 polymorphism as marker of risk CLL was proposed (OR = 2.37; 95 % CI = 1.50 ‒ 3.73). A method for determining mutations in the non-coding region of the NOTCH1 gene was developed. C allele of rs2124594 was associated with negative prognostic factors at CLL diagnosis, and TT genotype was associated with increased risk of solid tumors (OR = 2.65; 95 % CI = 1.08 - 6.54). GG genotype of rs2124594 was associated with increased risk of solid tumors опухолей (OR = 3.78; 95 % CI = 1.53 - 9.37). Association of the frequency of NOTCH1 gene’s mutations in non-coding region and in the exon 34 with structure of B-cell receptor was found. C-MYC amplification was associated with shorter time-to-treatment period and overall survival and may be used as independent prognostic marker. Field of application: radiobiology, hematology. Publications - 9 papers, thesis, patent, draft of methodological recommendations. Product Description popup.authors Abramenko Iryna V. Bilous Nadiya I. Dyagil Iryna S. Martina Zoya V.
