Results of testing of new genetically diverse starting material of sea buckthorn of the pear-shaped varieties of 'Morkviana', 'Osoblyva', 'Obriy', 'Oliana', 'Nadiina', 'Adaptyvna', characterized by valuable economic and breeding characteristics in the collection nurseries of fruit and vegetable cultivars of the National University of Horticulture of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (central part of the Forest-Steppe) and Zhytomyr National Agro-Ecological University of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Polissia) allowed to develop a planting scheme for the above mentioned new varieties. The data obtained and the plantations formed will form the basis for the student preparation process. The results of the testing of a new genetically diverse starting material of sea buckthorn with valuable economic and breeding characteristics in the conditions of the Northern Forest-Steppe allowed to replenish the existing collection of the Institute of Horticulture of the NAAS for 79 varieties, hybrids, clones and to obtain important details sea buckthorn.
Methodical recommendations for growing buckthorn buckthorn adapted to the ecological conditions of the Forest-Steppe and Polissia of Ukraine contain modern and important scientific information on nutritional value and medicinal properties of fruits, leaves and bark of sea buckthorn, as well as information on biological properties and morphological features of plants. developing strategies to grow this culture in the face of global climate change. Information on the economically valuable characteristics of new varieties of sea buckthorn of the Institute of Horticulture of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and elements of technology of their cultivation will become actual information for gardeners and a road map for formation of productive gardens of sea buckthorn.
