The aim of the work: is to increase the effectiveness of treatment of patients with gastrointestinal cancers by individualizing metabolic therapy in the framework of combined treatment considering epigenetic disturbances. Research methods and apparatus: clinical, biochemical, statistical, chromatographic, PCR, biochemicalanalyzer Respons 910, Ultimate 3000 liquid chromatograph. Theoretical and practical results: Metabolic disorders in patients with colorectal and gastric cancer were evaluated before surgical removal of the tumor and on the 14th day after surgery. It was found that most metabolic parameters changed significantly after surgery in compare to initial values. Multicorrelation relationship parameters of carbohydrate, lipid and aminoacid metabolism before and after surgery showed a significant difference between colorectal and gastric cancer patients. There were several typical "metabolic patterns" that characterize certain changes in the carbohydrate, lipid and aminoacidscontents in blood serum that showedstrond specificity on the tumor location: Colorectal or gastric. Seven parameters appeared to be the most informative: Arginine, glutamine, leucine, valine, phenylalanine, asparagine, tyrosine. Novelty: New data on metabolic disorders in patients with colorectal and gastric cancer at various stages of combinative treatment. Implementation efficiency: none.
