The research is a scientific and methodological basis for the strategizing of innovative development for the regions of Ukraine on the principles of the current stage of regional economy development. The study highlights a wide range of problematic issues related to regional innovation development. The author team has proposed new approaches to solving problems of theoretical and applied nature, has determined strategic orientations of innovative development on the example of Odessa region, has proposed corresponding scenarios, priorities and tools of innovative development, considering ecological component in innovative sustainable development of the region, has defined trends, scenarios and strategic directions of innovative development of the agrarian market as one of the strategic markets of the Odessa region, as well as directions of improvement of institutional support for the implementation of innovative development strategies of Ukrainian regions.
