Research methods - methods of synthesis of model organic compounds, heterocyclic compounds; NMR, IR, UV, fluorescence spectroscopy; mass and chromatomy-spectrometry; methods of synthesis under high pressure and in an inert atmosphere; X-ray and elemental analysis, in silico, in vitro and in vivo screening. Methods for the synthesis of flavonoid derivatives, β-keto-γ-sultams, oxazole, (carbo) heterocycles and spirocycles containing CF2 group have been developed for the needs of medical chemistry. Generally known data and authors' own research on modern methods of synthesis, modification and biological activity of (iso) coumarins, neoflavones, condensed chromones, asahromones. Developed: new building blocks based on deoxybenzoins, (iso) coumarins, (iso, neo) flavones, methods for synthesis of new heterocyclic systems based on them, enamino ketone 2'-carboxamidodeoxybenzoin, 1λ6-isothiazolidine-1,1,4-trioxin, macrocodine oxazole.
