Object of research: O. Gonchar's works, printed, manuscript, digitized archival materials, copies of letters, documents, albums, texts of works, etc., their presentation in the online information space.
Purpose: to find out ideological-thematic, figurative, genre, style, time-space, linguistic peculiarities of O. Gonchar's work; to create a networked, cognitive, transdisciplinary and publicly available knowledge-oriented information resource that comprehensively reflects the milestones of O. Gonchar's life and work and forms a holistic image of a prominent compatriot as a person, writer, literary critic and public figure; to appear on the pages of national and western European publications with relevant publications.
Research methods: historical, literary, typological, comparative, cultural, historical, transdisciplinary.
The paper explores: the ideological-thematic paradigm of O. Gonchar's work, the problems of his prose; figurative system (images of foreigners, artists, women, etc.) of the writer's works; genre-content dominants of epic forms of the artist (small prose, journalism, etc.); the stylistic system of O. Gonchar's prose, factors of the author's individual style (ideological content, principles of composition, methods of characterization, portrait, landscape, symbolism, artistic means, etc.); principles of structuring time and space in the writer's works; the linguistic and stylistic paradigm of O. Gonchar's work; key concepts of the linguistic picture of the author's poetry world.
