The basic principles and aspects of determining differences, uniformity and stability in the field are investigated, the use of uniform unified approaches for assessing plant varieties. The analysis of conditions and factors to provide the objectivity and reliability of the qualification examination of plant varieties at the DUS of the corresponding botanical taxons to determine the criteria for difference, uniformity and stability. This approach provides obtaining the results by which the final decision on the Application for a plant variety makes with subsequent state registration of the variety and/or rights to it.
