A new two-stage methods for the approximate solution of variational inequalities with pseudo-monotone and Lipschitz-continuous operators acting in a finite-dimensional linear normed space is proposed. A convergence theorems of methods are proved. A variational algorithm for identifying the optimum power of point sources has been developed, which allows solving quasilinear moisture transfer problems in an unsaturated porous medium by linearizing them based on Kirchhoff transformations under realistic assumptions.
