The results indicate that there is no significant difference between the tissue-engineered tool and conventional autoneuroplasty; tested tool has significant potential for improvement and is characterized by significantly faster regeneration. Transplanted neural crest stem cells were differentiated into schwann cells and provided myelination of newly formed nerve fibers. Tested welded joint of the ends of the transsected sciatic nerve in some electroneuromyographic and morphometric parameters outperforms traditional neuroraphy. Implantation of a chitosan-based tunneling matrix into the spinal cord injury zone significantly impairs the regeneration process, potentiate post-traumatic spasticity.
