The statistic, spectral, and wavelet analysis for the data of measurements of the magnetic fields of 4 spacecraft of Cluster-2 mission has been carried out. The kink in magnetic field spectra has been obtained, and character scales of changes of turbulent processes in the Earth’s magnetosphere (in low frequencies the turbulent processes are close to homogeneous MHD, and in higher ones are more close to Hall-МHD) has been obtained. The presence of the kink in frequencies lower than proton’s gyrofrequency may note to significant role of heavy ions at the distances near 10 Earth’s radii. From the analysis of ferroprobe measurements of experiments PEACE and CIS-CODIF the plasma characteristics during magnetic substorm evolution were investigated. The time delay in temperature increase of protons and one of oxygen ions is obtained. Pc4 and Pc5 pulsations to be observed for thermal pressure of electrons, protons, and magnetic field were registered. The comparison of pulsations in the Earth's and Jupiter's magnetospheres has been carried out, and it was found that turbulence could be the cause of plasma heating. It has been analytically determined that one of the eight possible MHD modes can be unstable due to the evolution of Kelvin-Helmholtz instability in both weak and strong magnetic fields. It has been demonstrated that oblique perturbations propagating at an angle with respect to the velocity vector of the medium play a dominant role in the development of this instability. It has been observed that the generation of a large number of stable MHD modes at the interface of the plasma can lead to the realization of the turbulent state of the plasma. The existence of an additional channel for the generation of kinetic Alfven and kinetic ion-sound waves, which are involved in a number of three-wave processes in the solar   Product Description popup.authors Ivchenko Vasyl M.
