The aim of the investigation:to ground theoretical foundations of professional and language education of Humanities specialists and to develop the corresponding methodologies of professional and communicative competence formation. The Novelty of the investigation: the peculiarities of structure, content, methods of professional and language education of Humanities specialists, as well as the specialists in the spheres of tourism, pharmacy, rescue services, information technologies in the leading world countries have been defined and characterized; the organizational models, pedagogical conditions of effective professional and language education of the mentioned specialists have been substantiated; the principles of social and historic and pedagogical and theoretical aspects of professional and language education have received further development. Theoretical and practical value of the investigation: a cluster of models of professional and language education of Humanities specialists, methodologies of effective professional communicative competence formation have been suggested, which can be applied in the educational process of higher educational institutions of Ukraine; the criteria and descriptors of levels of speech competencies formation, as well as the levels of readiness to the professional activity have been defined; the models of a competent professional in the mentioned above spheres have been developed as well as the corresponding methodologies, technologies of readiness formation for the professional activity of the mentioned specialists have been developed.
