Proposals on introduction of social and environmental imperatives into the rural development policy have been supplied. National priorities on implementation of socio-ecological imperatives of the development of territorial communities have been substantiated with the assets-based approach to the nature management and applying the model of spatial differentiation of rural areas in Ukraine. Concept of the development of strong territorial communities has been developed taking into account principles of the socio-ecological imperatives, innovative environmentally friendly mechanisms of the nature management and their positive impact for spatial allocation of the rural settlements.
