Citizens of Ukraine are responsible for the preservation of state sovereignty, speak out against the outward external influence on the domestic political life in the country from any side. Almost half of them have not felt any influence on themselves and their family since coming closer to the EU. 71% of Ukrainian citizens did not use visa liberalization during thelast two years. Supporters of NATO membership make up 46.5% of the country's adult population. The most willing to join the alliance are concentrated in the west of the country, and the least are in the Donbass region. Public opinion is torn between the desire for a neutral, non-aligned status and a NATO membership.
