The SADT (Structured Analysis & Design Technique) methodology was used to summarize, systematize, and describe the interconnections of a complex system of ideas about the formation and evolution of the structural-phase state of nanostructured metallic materials at life-cycle stages. According to this methodology, models are constructed by sequential decomposition of a top-level functional model, which improves the quality of generalization and systematization of the system of phenomena by describing the relationships at each level of detail of the model. The following approaches are used for research: systemic, aspectual, conceptual, empirical and scientific. The systematic approach additionally takes into account diffusion processes in relation to thermal and plastic processing. In aspect - technological aspect of restoration of structure of materials during operation is developed.
