In the course of the study of the development and transformation of the political systems of the countries of the world, the consequences of illegal migration for the countries of the world are analyzed. The main measures to combat illegal migration in different countries have been identified. The analysis of trends of formation, development and functioning of lobbying in the USA is presented. The analysis is based on a study of the requirements of legislation in this area, both for lobbyists and officials, the ethical standards that lobbyists should follow in their activities, the subjective and objective determination of American lobbying and the forms of lobbying that prevail in the country. Theoretical approaches to defining the concept and phenomenon as a complex of regional security are analyzed. The concept of the regional security complex, which was proposed by the representatives of the Copenhagen School, B. Busan and O. Weaver, was considered.
