The substantive and formal components of the poetic paradigm are realized, which are realized at different levels of the artistic text: conceptual, object-and-symbolic, space-time, architectonic-compositional, linguistic-stylistic, rhythmic-intonational. It is established that visual and expressive means, individually-author's signs of style often determine the genre specificity of a work. The means of influence of the poetic system of the literary whole on the recipient are determined, the consequences of co-creation of the author and the reader are revealed. The system of visual and expressive means as indices of individual-author's style, their functional load in the works of Ukrainian and foreign authors is considered.
