The object of the research is the processes of formation of social and labor potential in improving the economic security of Ukraine. The aim of the research is to develop a set of models of social and labor potential formation in accelerating the processes of European integration and practical recommendations for introducing a system of mechanisms for enhancing the social and labor potential of enterprises, industries and regions in ensuring economic security based on the use of EU experience. Traditional and special research methods were used in the research, including: historical-logical, regression-correlation and stochastic analyzes, system analysis, methods of economic-mathematical modeling, comparative analysis, institutional method, case-method, method of indicative planning. According to the research results, models of institutional support for the development of social and labor potential were developed on the basis of SWOT-analysis of factors of influence on the development of social and labor potential of production systems in the context of economic security and modernization of the social development spheres of the country and the formation of its institutional foundations; an organizational mechanism for ensuring the development of higher, vocational education and training in enhancing social and labor potential and ensuring its compliance with EU standards has been developed. The results of the study may be taken into account by the profile committees of Parliament when developing regulatory acts; ministries and agencies when drafting regulatory documents and other by-laws; regional and local executive bodies in the development of plans for the years to come, implementation of management and coordination decisions; enterprises in the formulation of personnel management measures; in the work of trade unions and NGOs.
