 According to the retrospective evaluation of bronchopulmonary diseases in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchial asthma, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, oncopulmonological diseases, exposed to ionizing radiation, and inhalation of radionuclides (40 persons), the most common forms were chronic bronchitis (36.2%), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) (10.3% of the total number of surveyed persons), bronchial asthma (BA) (2.7%), emphysema (0.3%) ), pulmonary fibrosis (0.3%). According to the prospective study, significantly higher respiratory rate on the MRC scale, the frequency of exacerbations per year, were found in persons exposed to ionizing radiation compared to the nosological control group. In the vast majority of ChNPP liqidators with COPD, the results of radiological examination revealed pulmonary enlargement, pulmonary root compaction, pneumofibrosis and pulmonary emphysema. During macromorphological examination, catarrhal endobronchitis (51.8%) and pathological changes of the bronchial epithelium in the form of disorders of the basement membrane (47.9%), superficial epithelium (39.6%), sclerosis of the basement membrane (37.5%) were most often detected. , signs of inflammation (20.8%). The dependence of the formation of disabling diseases of the bronchopulmonary system on the dose of ionizing radiation was not found at this stage of the study.
