The object of study is the processes of heat and mass exchange in thermal units and systems. The purpose of the work is to conduct structural and phase formation features in composite sorbents. Research methods physical experiments, mathematical modeling. The complex of data on influence on the sorption properties of composite materials of their chemical and phase composition was obtained and analyzed. The regularities of formation and influence on the sorption properties of composite materials of their chemical and phase composition have been determined. Developed: composite sorbent based on silica gel and crystalline hydrates; experimental pilot plant for determining the thermophysical properties of composite materials; the method of obtaining composite sorbents using sol-gel synthesis; methodology for the study of sorption, physico-mechanical and operational properties of composite sorbents. New technical solutions have been developed, under which 6 applications for the issuance of security documents of Ukraine for intellectual property objects have been submitted, of which 1 patent of Ukraine for utility model has already been obtained.
