In order to parameterize, the geometry of the mechanism is presented in a generalized form. Parametric dependences are established, which allow to calculate the optimal geometry of the mechanism according to the criterion of minimizing the lengths of the links at given acceptable angles of transmission and the required range of displacements. Concepts and rules for designing such mechanisms are proposed. Parametric studies have been carried out and the conclusions about the mutual influence of some geometric parameters have been formulated. A method of calculating of spatial dimensional chains for determining the shape of parts is proposed. Studies of 3D models of conditional mechanisms, synthesized in accordance with the proposed methodology, have been carried out, which made it possible to identify the layout variants and variants of arrangement and joining of links of the mechanism, as well as to study its kinematics.
