Description

The object of study is a coal seam and host rocks. Purpose: to determine the effect of water on the stability of the host rocks and the feasibility of applying pre-moistening coal in the array. Research methods: analysis of mining-geological characteristics and discharge results in lava-analogues. As a result of the work, it was concluded that the negative effect of the pumped water on the stability of the host rocks and the increased risk of cleaning operations, as well as the inappropriateness of using pre-wet coal in the array.
