The purpose of the work is to create the physical and technical foundations for the formation of multicomponent nanostructured functional coatings. Research methods - mathematical modeling, dependence approximation, dielectric spectroscopy. Scientific research work results and novelty: 1. The magnetic and electric fields are simulated in the working chamber of an inverse magnetron sputtering system. The verification of the model and its numerical implementation was carried out. The resulting field configurations can be used as initial conditions in the simulation of a glow discharge using a diffusion-drift model. 2. The method of approximation of the characteristics of inverse magnetron sputtering system operation with gas anode and sectioned cathode units under different modes is first proposed. 3. For the first time, a general approach to improving the power supply system of an inverse magnetron sputtering system for the formation of multicomponent coatings based on voltage control on all elements of a technological generator from a single electric power source is substantiated. 4. The practical aspects of determining the structure of a separate resistive chain, the type and parameters of resistors of the power supply system of an inverted magnetron sputtering system with a gas anode and sectioned cathode units are considered. 5. The dielectric and optical properties of cadmium tungsten crystals were investigated. For the first time, an anomalously high increase in dielectric constant crystals due to the accumulation of point defects, including defects involving impurity atoms, has been established.
