The object of research - processes and changes in the sphere of man-made and natural safety in Ukraine during 2018, which can create a real threat of emergencies. The aim of research work - study and synthesis of information materials on the state of man-made and natural safety in Ukraine for 2018, its analysis, conclusion and identification of problems in these areas of civil protection, development of ways and means of their solution and specific measures aimed at protecting the population, territories, the environment and property from emergencies, prevention of such situations. The method of research - analysis of scientific and other types of information, structural-logical, systematic approach, sociological and method of determining predictive tendencies. The result of the research work is an Analytical Review of the State of man-made and Natural Safety in Ukraine for 2018. The analytical review will be disseminated to the executive authorities and local self-government bodies, territorial bodies of the SES, units of the Operative-Rescue Service of Civil Protection, other emergency response forces, educational institutions of the SES to inform introduction of positive experience of responding to man-made and natural emergencies, management decision-making, organization of rescue and other urgent work
