The purpose of the work is to develop practical recommendations for improving the efficiency of the machine-building enterprise and the competitiveness of the manufactured products, through the use of modern technologies and equipment in production and through the implementation of the principles of social responsibility in the marketing activities of the machine-building enterprise. The necessity to take into account the interests and needs of not only the client but also the environment, and society as a whole, has been proved when developing the marketing strategy of the machine-building enterprise. The influence of socially responsible marketing on the financial results of the enterprise activity in the short and long term is determined. On this basis, the most effective ways of development of the machine-building enterprise in the long term are determined. The influence of changes in technological process of production of machine-building products on the financial results of the enterprise activity and its competitiveness is substantiated. Practical recommendations have been developed to change the marketing strategy of a machine-building enterprise to increase the competitiveness of manufactured products. The main results of the research are implemented in the educational process of KhNUEU S.
