Nanoparticles of cerium dioxide prevent necrosis of cultured hippocampal neurons of rats with Alzheimer's disease, protecting them from the toxic effects of Aβ-amyloid. Decrease in nitric oxide release after the selective 7-NI blocker administration is accompanied by early c-fos gene expression increase under conditions of muscular proprioceptive activity. Under the influence of pipecuronium and rocuronium bromide K+-current through the LCC channels of the nuclear membrane of cerebellar Purkinje neurons and cardiomyocytes decreases in dose dependent manner.
