The goal of the comprehensive Project: design and optimization of enzymatic electrochemical biosensors based on new functional nanomaterials for determination of arginine and its application to quality control of fruit and Berry juices, as well as hygiene products. The goal of the Chapter 3 of the project: development of reference methods for the analysis of arginine using arginine-hydrolizing recombinant enzymes. The task of the second stage (2019) of the Chapter 3: Search and optimization of technologies for the preparation of arginine-hydrolyzing enzymes from microbial producers cells. Research methods: microbiological, biochemical, physico-chemical, analytical. As a result of the work in 2019: highly purified preparation of argininase and arginine deiminase were isolated, characterized and moved for research in the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics of NASU; screening of the strains of microorganisms and mushrooms to chose the effective producers of a new enzyme-arginine oxidase (ArgO) was carried out; cultivation conditions for the selected strains were optimized, technology for isolation of ArgO was developed, in analytical quantities of ArgO preparation were obtained and partly characterized. The proposed scientific research corresponds to the level of the best foreign prototypes. On the base of scientific results, 2 articles, 2 chapters in monographs and 4 abstracts of conferences were published.
