Description

The object of the study was invasive species of woody plants. The purpose of the study was to determine the extent of distribution and invasive capacity of species of woody plants, their adaptation in the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine Methods and methods of scientific researches (route, semi-stationary methods of geobotanical researches (Andreeva, 2002), population, statistical methods (Uranov, 1975; Schmidt, 1980). Method of microscopic studies of cross sections of shoots of plants. The forest-steppe dendrophy of Ukraine is characterized by an invasive fraction, which includes 26 species from 22 genera in woody and shrubs. These plants have specific strategies that provide the ability for active phytoinvasions. This is, first of all, high reproductive capacity due to the formation of a large number of vegetative clones and the active transfer of seeds by birds (endozoochoria). Some species also have high allelopathic activity and the ability to transform the natural environment. In general, all adventitious species of woody and shrub plants with high regenerative capacity (self-supporting or active vegetative propagation) can be considered as invasive.
