Theoretical analysis of the basic concepts and categorical apparatus of the research, methodological foundations of linguistic, linguomethodical and pedagogical researches are determined, the results of the analysis of national and foreign scientists in the field of linguistics, linguomethodics and professional pedagogy are highlighted. The specifics of providing professional training of specialists in the higher vocational education system are reflected on the basis of using the achievements of the theory and practice of linguistics, linguomethodics and vocational education.
On the basis of linguistic analysis of the text in the context of scientific and technical as well as fiction discourse is characterized the specificity of modern strategies application in Foreign Language for Specific Purposes teaching in the system higher professional education.
