Object of research of GDR - Ukrainian-Russian relations of the end of XX - beginning of XXI centuries.
The purpose of the research is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the socio-cultural aspects of relations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation at the end of XX - beginning of XXI centuries.
The model of estimation and construction of relations of Ukraine and the Russian Federation in the socio-cultural sphere at the end of XX - beginning of XXI centuries is developed. Complex analysis of Ukrainian-Russian relations in the sphere of culture, religion, science is carried out; found out the state of the art of the topic; the formation of the regulatory framework of Ukrainian-Russian relations is investigated; the development of relations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation in the field of theaters, libraries and museums has been traced; the impact and impact of globalization and mass culture on the development of these relations has been identified and analyzed; introduced statistical data on the intensity of socio-cultural processes between countries; the formation of national-cultural life of the Ukrainian diaspora in the Russian Federation and Russian in Ukraine is studied.
The scientific novelty is the conceptual model of evaluation of relations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation, not so much from the standpoint of official interstate relations, but from the standpoint of interpersonal relations. The practical value of the work. The research gives an opportunity to look at the tendencies of formation of interstate relations in the socio-cultural sphere in the new conditions of relations and to determine not only their character, but also to predict further tendencies of development.
