The purpose of the research work is to apply the scientific and applied substantiation and analytical formulation of proposals for implementation of the developed methodology for estimation of indicators of financing of the educational industry in Ukraine in the segment of general secondary education.
Modern scientific approaches to the formation of effective financial mechanisms for education are substantiated; the influence of the effective use of financial resources in the sphere of education on the development of the human potential of the country has been proved; methodological approaches to assessing the effectiveness of school education funding have been improved by identifying the main factors that affect performance, such as: dividing total education costs into individual categories, choosing a method of financing education and defining the principle of building a system of indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of funding; a methodology for evaluating the effectiveness of secondary education funding and the potential of optimizing the network of educational institutions is proposed.
