In the modern way of life, chronic psycho-emotional stress has become one of the most important risk factors for human pathology. This necessitates psychosomatic orientation in medicine, which in constructing the concepts of pathogenesis, treatment and prevention of diseases must take into account the influence of not only psychosocial and personal factors, but also gender differences. After all, back in the thirties of the last century, M. Ya. Basov stressed that there can be no doubt that the influence of sex is a common thread through the entire ontogenesis of man, being closely linked to both physical and mental development. B. Ananiev pointed out that gender is one of the fundamental coordinates of individuality, which permeates all human characteristics, including gender and age variability, having a genetic, constitutional innate program, naturally determining the disposition of human behavior. The purpose of the study - based on systematic analysis and differential assessment of clinical manifestations and patterns of formation of psychosomatic disorders (on the model of hypertension) in student youth, to develop a program of their differentiated psychocorrection and psychoprophylaxis.
The object of research - biological, socio-psychological factors of behavioral disorders.
The subject of research - clinical manifestations, psychological, psychosocial and psychophysiological factors of psychosomatic disorders in student youth. It was proved for the first time that there are significant differences in the average values of the intensity of clinical manifestations of psychosomatic diseases in people of different sexes; the influence of individual psychological properties on the etiology and pathogenesis of hypertension of persons of different sexes has been studied; it is established that cardiac complaints are in almost equal proportions peculiar to males and females with a strong and unbalanced nervous system.
