Object of investigation is resource-saving technologies of equipment and machines for processing materials by pressure. The aim is to increase the efficiency of experimental research of technologies and machines for processing materials by pressure on the basis of the development of the theory and methods of their implementation. Research methods - identification on the basis of analysis of existing research methods of technology and forging and pressing equipment, as well as related technologies for processing materials by pressure of the main factors influencing the effectiveness of experimental research. Theoretical results - a set of methods for studying the parameters of machines in the implementation of technologies. Practical results - a set of elements that ensure the implementation of the developed methods of research of the latest technologies and unique machines for processing materials by pressure. Scientific novelty consists of results and provisions which provide the further development of methods of researches of the newest technologies and unique machines of processing of materials by pressure. The efficiency of implementation is expressed in increasing the productivity of pressure treatment processes, reducing energy consumption, reducing the cost of manufacturing workpieces. Field of application - mechanical engineering, namely in the development, modernization and improvement of resource-saving technologies in the design and operation of machines for processing various materials by pressure.
