The report presents developments for calculating the values ​​of indicators for the assessment of rational transport systems, analysis of modern models of formation of matrices of labor passenger correspondence and population settlement functions in cities, provides a structural analysis of urban systems large cities and an estimate of the possible number of states of demand for movement depending on the number of transport areas. A special place in the development is occupied by issues of improving passenger service in cities.
