The object of study - the process of functioning of transport and logistics systems in market conditions.
The purpose of the work is to increase the efficiency of transport systems in modern conditions, to improve logistics systems and their elements in market conditions, as well as to improve the quality of transport services.
Research methods - mathematical (statistical-analytical and simulation modeling of freight and passenger traffic), analysis and synthesis of transport systems.
The report presents developments for calculating the values of indicators for the assessment of rational transport systems, analysis of modern models of formation of matrices of labor passenger correspondence and population settlement functions in cities, provides a structural analysis of urban systems large cities and an estimate of the possible number of states of demand for movement depending on the number of transport areas. A special place in the development is occupied by issues of improving passenger service in cities. Models have been developed behavior of passengers in the transport system and the competence of workers and management of the transport system, methods of using the reserves of transport capacity of transport enterprises to meet the needs
consumers, formalization and justification of possible options for passenger service by urban passenger transport. Part of the development concerned the monitoring of methods of modeling traffic flows, analysis of parameters that affect the optimization criteriatraffic conditions at a controlled intersection and determination of criteria for optimization of traffic light cycle elements. No less important issues are considered in the block of transport and logistics systems. Theoretical bases of an estimation of efficiency of the project of the organization of transport and logistic system, research of influence of external factors and internal parameters of systems of management of stocks on efficiency indicators are resulted.
